greetings
you know we can explain everything away and live life like everyone else, or we can see life speaking to us all the time, and feel connected with our Source.......the choice is always ours. I choose to see the magick and the signs as special love letters from spirit.Life can be just so mundane, and usual, I personally like more out of life than that.
blessed be

I live in Yellowknife and we have tons of ravens here. In fact some are as big as a medium sized dog. I love these birds. They are smart, sassy and just plain old amazing. I love when it is -45 C out and they are standing on metal for hours on end. They are amazing birds.

I enjoyed your post!

Blessings from the far north

Have you explored the possibility of ravens being an animal totem for you?

I have a picture book all about Ravens called Bird Brains. I love them so -- it always seems a great privilege when they sit nearby and call to their watchers. I throw things out to tempt them to eat whenever I hear them wheeling in the air. Their communities are complex and well organized. And Wisconsin shoots them. Yes, the filthy bullies and their BB guns are allowed to learn to kill on ravens and mourning doves in Wisconsin.

It hurt my heart a bit to see you say you feel you lost something. I don't live in an area with Ravens and feel that just living where you do must be magical since you have the honor of their presense. Personally, I feel "magic" when observing our wildlife in their "everyday" life. When I see the Red-tailed Hawks gliding above the field, hunting, across from my house I feel VERY connected. The Hawks, and many other animals, live side by side with us and I feel very lucky to be able to observe them.
